The Weeknd releases ultra-violent video for ‘False Alarm’
More from the Starboy.
Hardcore Henry director Ilya Naishuller repeats the film’s first-person POV style in the new video for The Weeknd’s second Starboy single ‘False Alarm’. The clip doubles down on the violence of the video for the Daft Punk-assisted ‘Starboy’, but instead of Abel Tesfaye taking himself hostage, he’s got a real one this time.
Earlier this year, Tesfaye said his upcoming album is partially inspired by David Cronenberg. We are hoping this mean that the third Starboy video will employ some body horror, if he’s going to continue on this very bloody path.
Starboy is out November 25.
