The Royal Waev is a newly developed production duo. Royalty The Producer (Oboi Jones) and Playwai Fargo (Naeem Nelson), have teamed up to make a production team powerhouse. With help from CCM’s AND , their debut single, “Checks & Balances”, has accumulated over 100k streams in their first few months. Oboi Jones, also known as Royalty The Producer, doubles as the CEO of Thrones Of Greatness L.L.C.. The independent label has been established for almost 3 years and The Royal Waev is their latest venture. Oboi Jones has been featured on The Source Magazine and countless other platforms for previous projects he has completed. After signing his first hometown artist, Rob K, Oboi produced Rob K’s debut EP, “The Comfort Zone”. The project built up some buzz and circulated some radio spins. This later propelled to go on an independent tour with and Thrones Of Greatness. Breaking the news on UCLA Radio, Oboi jumped on the road to manage the “Lovers and Friends Tour”. Now based in Southern California, Oboi is continuing his many ventures under the TOG umbrella. Naeem Nelson, also known as Playwai Fargo, is the other half of The Royal Waev. Naeem is based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has taken the city by storm. His producer credits include Milwaukee Natives IshDARR, BoodahDARR, Lil Chicken, Rob K, and countless others. Playwai Fargo is a name you’ll definitely want to remember as his career crescendos with The Royal Waev.
