And they might collaborate with Childish Gambino.
Migos have earned their first number one single for their recent hit, the infectious banger ‘Bad And Boujee’.
The track replaced Rae Sremmurd’s recent chart topper ‘Black Beatles’ thanks in part to a shout out from Donald Glover during his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes after winning Best Comedy Series for Atlanta. After thanking Migos “not for being in the show, but for making ‘Bad And Boujee’”, the song’s Spotify streams increased by 243%.
TMZ later spoke with Glover who expressed interest in getting the trio to collaborate with his Child Gambino project.
“I have to, it’s Zone 6,” Glover said. His brother, Stephen Glover, was even more enthusiastic assuring the publication that “it’s happening”.
It’s good timing for Migos who will release their next album, C U L T U R E, this month on January 27.
