M Unknow has a pulling power capable of gently and persistently persuading the increasingly relaxed emitter of the ether. His latest project in collaboration with Gunstylero is less cinematic and epic than other rhythm-driven pieces, but he’s equally ambitious, rich in textures and filled with pleasant surprises.
His latest single “Mouv Your Body” seems modest, and much more successful both emotionally and musically.
The sound is shredded and immediate, charged with zestful energy and features fuzzy piano keys that introduce melodic synths that provide a flambed and rhythmic weaving of the Pop-R & B but Dancehall fusion.the sumptuous harmonies are locked in on every bar.
Many would question his artistry because of his heavy use of auto-tune, but it would be especially unfair to deny that he has some skill when it comes to creating a pleasurable mood. He aims to find a sweet spot by creating a strong connection between the vocals and the instrumental. And he does a good job with it.
