A man of many talents; actor, audio engineer, and hip-hop recording artist, Meeko Kolledi, born Domenico P. D’Ippolito, comes from an Italian American, blue collar upbringing in Westchester, New York, a suburb of New York City. As an artistically inclined youth, Meeko studied music theory, played cello, guitar and sang in his school’s chorus. With a diverse musical palette in his background, Meeko drew inspiration from bands like Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Linkin Park during his musical growth as a youth. Hip-Hop was introduced into his life as an adolescent and artists such as Tupac, Eminem and The LOX influenced Meeko’s early interest into the genre.

Introspective by nature, Meeko has consistently transformed his internal conflict into his music. With a style and tonality most compared to NF, subject content similar to Joyner Lucas and a rhyme scheme like Hopsin’s; Meeko’s music has been described as raw, gritty and genuine by his peers and pays tribute to many fundamental elements of Hip Hop.

“No, No” is Meeko Kolledi’s latest for the 2020 season. Noted by fans and peers as a technical rhymer, Meeko puts serious thought into every bar and line. With a mixture of wordplay, metaphors and punchlines, Meeko strives to pay homage to the fundamental elements of Hip Hop. The lyric video was created for people who seek to be active listeners and critical of rapping skills. “No, No” is a high powered & aggressive banger with lingering dark elements that would be perfect for anyone’s workout playlist.
