Born into a famous family unit, Edo Ferragamo is the great-grandson of acclaimed fashion designer Salvatore Ferragamo. From his family, Edo learned first-hand what it means to work hard to achieve your goals. Taking on a different path of creative instinct, Edo was introduced to his passion and after finding his mother’s classical guitar sitting around at a young age. Ever since, he knew it was music. Looking back, Edo appreciates the attention to detail and the value of integrity bestowed on him from the familial generations before him.
Italian singer-songwriter, Edo Ferragamo, releases his new single “Justice,” the third release from his upcoming album, The Edo Ferragamo Project – out February 2020. With “Justice” Edo explores the emotions behind a long-distance relationship and creates a slower tempo pop track compared to his previous two singles, “Common Place” and “That’s the Way”.
Born and raised in Florence, Italy, Edo Ferragamo began immersing himself in music when he picked up an electric guitar at the age of 12. In high school, Edo formed his first band, and by the time he was 16 he knew music would be his life. Always yearning to go to the United States, and wanting to be a part of the best music school in the country, Edo attended the famous Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduating in 2015, Edo moved to New York City to pursue his musical career. Playing in venues across the city, such as The Bowery Electric, Edo began creating a name for himself and in 2017 opened for Italian platinum recording artist, FEDEZ, in Milan.
Consisting of 8 original tracks, The Edo Ferragamo Project was inspired by the past two years of Edo’s life. He balances various emotional moments through each song, expressing heartbreak, loss, joy, and fulfillment. Edo released the first single off the record, “Common People” earlier in 2019 and the single has gone on to amass over 160k streams on Spotify. He proceeded the single with “That’s The Way”, a high-energy pop track featuring a strong guitar riff and heavy beats. The single has also become his most streamed single, with over 170k streams.
Now, Edo Ferragamo introduces another intoxicating track with “Justice”. The single will be followed by live video, set for release later this month.
