The S.O.S releases the audio for “What Once Was” on Soundcloud. Here is what The S.O.S had to say about the track, “This track was written right after a breakup that (at the time) crushed me. Every word of the first verse was written directly after the heat of the moment following an argument. The second verse was written when I had felt my lowest and could really see the situation from a open minded perspective from what had been lost. The hook was the reality of the situation as a whole. The vocals are fairly raw with not much auto tune to set the tone accordingly. Anyone whose loved and lost can relate to this track in some shape or form.”
