Awakenings is a relaxing and meditative solo flute composition and recording by award-winning New Age flutist Sherry Finzer, released on the Heart Dance Records label. Inspired by the sounds of flutist Paul Horn and his recording Inside the Taj Mahal, Sherry wanted to find a way to emulate Horn’s incredible sound and emotion, and sought out the help of Tom Moore from Dreamcatcher Studios in Chandler, AZ. Awakenings is heard regularly on radio stations around the globe, including the SiriusXM Spa Channel, FM and streaming radio, international airlines and many overhead music channels.
