Blair Mathews is one of Nashville’s newest and most dynamic recording artists. Originally from Arizona, he now resides on a farm outside Nashville – some of the most spectacular countryside on the planet.
Blair has been a writer for Dan Hodges Music Publishing in Nashville since 2013 and has more than 120 professional demos to his credit. He has worked mainly with Grammy Award Winning Engineer Chad Carlson (Taylor Swifts first 3 albums), out of the renowned Sound Emporium Studios. he has also recorded several tracks with Grammy Award Winning Producer Luke Wooten, at Station West Studios.
In 2016, a song he co-wrote with Keith Dozier, “All I’ve Got Going Is You,” was a finalist for Country Song of the Year in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC). He released the music video for that song late in 2017 to strong reviews, with Muddy Beatz Magazine stating “Mathews is undoubtedly one of the strongest country writers of our time.” Mathews has had 3 of his own singles on the Music Row Chart as well as cuts in Australia.
Blair and his band played several select events this year. They Headlined the Georgia Peach Festival in June and in July Headlined the Harley Davidson Summer Concert Series in Alabama, as well as local clubs in Nashville and Kentucky.
